Dear customers and friends of the large gauges,
we are just back from the Gauge 0+1 meeting in Gießen and already we are back with the next news. Today there is only a short update on two important points. But the next bigger newsletter will not be long in coming.
Series 310 - Last chance to secure your dream variant
This week we have to determine the quantities for the individual variants of the 310 series. This means that the available variants will then be limited, as the remaining contingent will be divided among the different variants and wheel types. Some variants will be sold out immediately afterwards. If you still have a special model in mind, we can take it into account if orders are received by 3 April.
To perhaps make your decision a little easier, we would like to share with you the first pictures of the still unfinished hand sample that we received this week. The finished hand sample will probably be on display for the first time at the Gauge 1 meeting in Speyer. We will of course keep you informed.
Series 44 - Pre-order price extended
One of the most talked-about topics last weekend in Giessen was the class 44, with much being said about the detailing, the delivery date and many other details. However, two points were mentioned remarkably often. Firstly, there was the joy and the very great encouragement for the project, as we have already published pictures of the production and could thus show, among other things, that our 44 will certainly be realised and in the foreseeable future. The second point that was really often raised was the short announcement time at the end of the pre-order price. For this reason, we are extending the pre-order price by another month until 30 April. Since we have already had to announce the numbers of units of the individual variants, it is possible that individual types may sell out relatively quickly.
Last but not least, we would like to thank you. We had a lot of nice conversations with customers and railway enthusiasts last weekend in Gießen. The crowds on Saturday were overwhelming and we would like to thank everyone who showed a lot of patience and apologise to those who may have missed out. For next year we will strengthen our fair team so that we can find enough time for all concerns. In any case, we are already looking forward to seeing you again next year!
Your team from,
Spur 1 Austria
